The Fondazione Oristano, under the organization of the horse tournament planned for the next 23rd and 25th of February in Oristano, is pleased to present some of its several renewed services and opportunities you can choose among.  In order to be able to understand our horse tournament’s traditional features and its historical background in a both simple and exhaustive way and to introduce you to the event, letting you grasp the details and feel the emotions at any given moment, we give you the chance to join our cultural offer on these days:

• Friday 21st : Guided tours through the route of the Sartiglia, Museo Archeologico e Storico Artistico "Antiquarium Arborense" and Torre di Portixedda approximately from 16.00 to 17.30
• Saturday 22nd : Guided tours through the route of the Sartiglia, Museo Archeologico e Storico Artistico "Antiquarium Arborense" and Torre di Portixedda from 10.00 to 11.30 and from 16.00 to 17.30
• Sunday 23rd, Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th : Guided tours through the route of the Sartiglia, Museo Archeologico e Storico Artistico "Antiquarium Arborense" and Torre di Portixedda approximately from  9.30 to 11.00

Guided tours can be carried out with a minimum of 5 people

Cultural initiatives are proposed as following:

01 – Guided tours throuh the route of the Sartiglia (hours from 9.30 to 10.30)

Starting from our head office at the Ticket Desk Sartiglia in via Eleonora 15, led by expert tourist guides, you are going to join an historical, artistic and anthropological tour scheduled on the following stages:

• Oristano Cathedral, visiting the Chapel of the Carpenters’Guild
• Via Duomo
• Piazza Roma visiting Porta’e Ponti Tower
• Via Mazzini, visiting the route of the Race of Pariglie
• Centro di Documentazione e Studio sulla Sartiglia – via Eleonora 15

The tour lasts about 60 minutes and is also available in English and French.
The full ticket costs € 5,00 per person.

02 – Guided tours throuh the route of the Sartiglia + Museo Archeologico e Storico Artistico "Antiquarium Arborense" and Torre di Portixedda (hours from 9.30 to 11.00)

The guided tour through the route of the Sartiglia is enriched with a visit to the city museum
“Antiquarium Arborense” and the medieval tower of Portixedda.

The tour lasts about 90 minutes and is also available in English and French.

The full ticket costs € 10,00 per person
